Our Management Team
The Argentia Management Authority has a dedicated
team of professionals knowledgeable in community economic development,
business planning, feasibility analysis, infrastructure planning,
and government relations. Our team will work hard to assist your

Ken is primarily responsible for the corporate negotiation, the
operations and maintenance of the base facility, property management,
and the evaluation of financial and accounting controls. He is also
highly involved in the identification, negotiation, and assistance
of potential new business opportunities.

Harvey is primarily responsible for stimulating economic and business
development opportunities in the Argentia area. He is also responsible
for the development and implementation of a marketing program that
generates world wide awareness of Argentia and the advantages of
locating on the facility.
Loyola (Junior) Pomeroy – Port Facility & Operations Officer
Junior reports directly to the General Manager, and provides support
for both the AMA and the APC. His primary responsibility is as Wharfinger,
and has, by direction, the control of operations, administration,
and management for the Port of Argentia.
Carmel Hickey - Administration Assistant
Carm provides a high level of administrative support for
the Argentia Management Authority Inc. by conducting research, preparing
statistical reports, handling information requests, and performing
clerical functions. She also assists with the marketing and promoting
activities for the AMA, and interacts on a daily basis with the
AMA Board of Directors, organizations and associations, and all
levels of management and government officials at the municipal,
provincial and federal levels.
Marion King - Administrative Assistant
In support of the Argentia Management Authority Inc., and
the Argentia Port Corporation, Marion performs and applies a variety
of accounting procedures in a timely manner in compliance with laws,
regulations, and company policies. She prepares accounting, financial,
and statistical reports and provides detailed administrative and
clerical duties necessary to run the organization effectively.
The Maintenance Team
Our maintenance team is comprised of multi-facet, skilled,
and highly motivated tradespeople who keep the AMA and the APC working
at peak levels. Where you want a vehicle repaired, a broken pipe
fixed or replaced, or a cracked window replaced or other such maintenance-type
work, our maintenance team always gets the job done on time and
on budget.
