The Port of Argentia
The Fleet Dock
The Fleet Dock is 430 metres in length. The average draft is 8-11
metres, and ships as large as 300 metres can be accommodated without
tug assistance. The north end of the Fleet Dock, berths 1 and 2,
is 300 metres in length and can accommodate lifts to 200 tons. The
south end of the Fleet Dock, berths 3 and 4, is 130 metres in length
and is a concrete crib constructed dock with a lift capacity in
excess of 200 tons. (Construction will be complete on berths 3 &
4 by December 2005. Please inquire for progress info.)
