No Tire Storage in Argentia

The Argentia Management Authority (AMA) announces its land holdings in Argentia are not available for Tire Storage despite media reports that indicate that Argentia has been designated as a tire storage site. The AMA will place restrictions on future land sales to ensure the area does not become a tire storage area.

Harvey Mercer, Chairperson of the AMA says that the Multi-Materials Stewardship Board and Newfoundland and Labrador Department of Environment have been requested to remove Argentia's name, if indeed we are indicated on any tire storage area list.
