The Argentia Industrial Park is comprised of two areas, the Southside Industrial Park and the Northside. The Southside Industrial Park is a 110-acre, 41-lot area that is a prime location for export-based, small-to-medium sized manufacturing and warehousing operations. The Southside is fully developed and ready for immediate occupancy. It offers more than 500,000 square feet of building space (300,000 square feet is currently under rental/lease contracts) that is ideally suited to manufacturing and warehousing operations - in fact, almost any similar type of operation. The Northside, adjacent to the Port of Argentia, is a prime location for heavy industrial projects, and includes over eleven hundred acres of relatively flat land. It is here where CVRD Inco has located and constructed their state-of-the-art, $150-million dollar research and development, Hydrometallurgy Demonstration Plant that is working to prove the best and most efficient method to process ore from the Voisey’s Bay world class nickel discovery in Labrador.

The Argentia Industrial Park is where you need to be to capitalize on the many major projects that are slated for this end of the Placentia Bay, namely: construction and operation of the VBNC’s Commercial Nickel Processing Plant, construction and operation of a second refinery by Newfoundland and Labrador Refinery Corporation, upgrade to the current Come-By-Chance Oil Refinery, and the proposed LNG Project by Newfoundland LNG Ltd.
