BUILDING 847
General Description
Building 847M was constructed in 1962 to house the boilers
that generate the steam which provides heat for the various facilities
on the base. This plant has 9,330 sq. ft./370 m2 of floor area and
is divided into two sections.
The room on the left has a height of 23 ft./7.0 m to the roof deck,
while the right room is an attached low roof with only 20 ft./6.1
m in height. This attached low roof section along the front contains
a workshop, office, and washroom.
