AMA Board Elections
Press Release - December 21, 2001

The Argentia Management Authority (AMA) is pleased to announce the following persons were selected to serve on the AMA Board of Directors, as part of AMA's ongoing Board renewal process. They will serve a two (2) year period January 1, 2002 to December 31, 2003.

Mr. Daniel Greene
Mr. Ray Greene
Mr. Hedley Burge

In addition, Mayor Bride McLennon of the Town of Placentia will serve on the Board as the Town's representative replacing Mr. Fred Whelan.

The above members will join existing AMA Board members:

Mr. John Whiffen
Mr. Ed O'Keefe
Mr. Jim Nolan
Ms. Vivian Smith
Mr. Harvey Mercer (Immediate Past Chairperson)

Many thanks to Mr. Fred Whelan (Town Representative); Mr. John Seay and Ms. Kay Smith for their hard work, dedication and contribution to the Board during their serving years.

The selections listed above were made by the Selection Committee from a list of eight (8) nominated candidates.
